SMS to Canada (Rogers) doesn’t work

1) Give a description of the problem
Hi guys,

I try to set a WebCore notification action via SMS for my mobile (Canada) and I don’t receive it. I tried 10 digits, 1 plus 10 digits, +1 plus 10 digits and none work.

If I switch to an email instead works as expected.

Am I missing something ?

Receive SMS

Not receiving SMS

If you are outside of the United States, SMS is currently not possible without using a third party app.
(You can thank SmartThings for that decision)


Be careful with emails… There is a strict daily limit, and any sent beyond that will be lost forever.

Hi I thought WebCore had his own SMS method… Any third party recommendation ? I was expecting it would work for Canada since we share same country code :slight_smile:

The email service is thru webCoRE, but the SMS is thru SmartThings, so they have control.

There are a few alternatives in my last link, as well as other great topics on this forum with SMS workarounds.
