Sonos announcement and start music

trying to set sonos announcement during certain time and start playing music from sonos queue

Unless music is already playing when the switch is turned on, I don’t believe the ‘speak and resume’ command will do anything more than speak the designated text and stop. Even then, ‘speak and resume’ on Sonos is known to unreliable as discussed here and here.

You may want to consider using ‘play track’ to play a specific track or adopt some of the strategies discussed here with regard to Spotify playlists.

I’m hopeful some of these issues will be resolved with the release on the new Sonos APK in 2018.
