Speech synthesizers and speech engine on DLNA speakers

When I use WC to get my DLNA speaker to Speak “A Sentence” I don’t quite like the voice the speaker has. Not sure where this voice comes from and what engine it is. Is it possible to use a custom voice engine something more pleasant like google or alexa voice

You can in Tasker. I have my notifications going from SmartThings > tasker

autonotification > device. The voice is British.

Sorry bit lost, exactly where is this setting? in WebCoRE or SmartThings? Any chance of a screenshot?

You might find some helpful information at the following link. It requires two Android apps ($3 + $2) but works like a charm. (Tasker is to Android, what webCoRE is to home automation)
