Steps for building a 2nd instance of WebCore?

I want to build a 2nd instance of webcore and then linking to my existing instance as recommended for putting my status tiles.

Can some one outline the process or steps, I searched the Wiki and the forum without success.

It is basically installing webcore again through the marketplace and assigning a different name to the new instance.

Jkp, Thanks for the advice! I guess that should have been evident to me. I have completed all and have my tiles up and running in the 2nd instance. Response time is much improved.

Is there anyway to get a direct link to the second instance? I would like to have separate bookmarks , one for my Pistons instance and another url for my Tile instance.

The drop down menu in the top left is how we switch, but the URL stays the same. (I believe it is based on cookies)

Using two browsers means each browser should remember it’s last viewed instance… or using two tabs can work, but only until the browser is closed. (since only the last cookie set is remembered)

Ya…I was hoping there was a way around this. I would like to link to my Tiles instance from ActionTiles dashboard to get more details. My Tiles instance would be customized for dashboard use. My Pistons instance is where most of my scripting would be. Thank you.

Oh, this is easy. Just open your dashboard once on that device, and choose your “Tiles” instance. That browser will remember that instance for future calls. (and do your coding using another device and/or browser)

I am going to show my ignorance, I have a 2nd instance which I have my pistons that execute my tiles, I have four: weather, hvac, doors and locks. But reading “link to my Tiles instance from ActionTiles” makes me believe there is more that I am nor are of. Can you explain what/how you )link to my Tiles instance from ActionTiles)

Just a URL shortcut from action tiles to separate webCoRE tile page, no integration
