I realize this conversation is somewhat old. I am trying to do exactly this with my alarm system. Is there a chance an example could be posted? I am having trouble on how exactly to define the variables.

Tasker is the way I would like to do it. I can certainly start a new thread with my specific scenario, which may get the answers quicker.
