Text-to-Speech: (False) on a Gen3 Echo Dot (?)

I doubt this is actually a bug, but it’s bugging me. lol

I just added a brand new Echo Dot (Gen 3) to my stuff. It works well as an Echo Speaks device in every other way, but it doesn’t show up when I try to test it with the broadcast thingy in the Echo Speaks SmartApp, and when I look at the entry for this Dot in there, it says
Text-to-Speech: (False)

I’m running the latest version of the Echo Speaks SmartApps.

Any ideas why this would be the case with a brand new, third Gen Dot?
I assume I’m missing an update on something else, or something, but I haven’t been keeping up with things around here for a while.

I think you may get better responses if you post this question on the forum where Echo Speaks is maintained…
