I recently delved into WebCoRe and have been very happy. My main goal was to create a notification when someone was at the front door. I wanted to notify the people upstairs by flashing a single light.
I was able to get this working using the actual motion detector, a door sensor (used for debugging), and an IFTTT Virtual Switch (also used for debugging). Things were working great but obviously they are not now or I would not be writing.
Sometime this evening things stopped responding. Now instead of flashing the lights barely respond. Sometimes they respond after a few seconds but nothing could be considered flashing. I have gone so far as to delete every piston and create a new one but the concept of flashing no longer works.
The two things that I did which could have caused a problem are:
1 - Changed the IFTTT Virtual Device from a Switch to a momentary device. I have since deleted all mentions of the IFTTT device from the piston.
2 - I installed a Device Handler and SmartApp for a TP Link switch. I have removed all mentions of the TP Link app.
I can ask Alexa to turn on a light and it responds immediately. New Pistons cannot make the light flash. I feel as if something spammed the light so much that it no longer responds.
In help would be greatly appreciated.
