Does anyone have a piston(s) that is geared towards home security? I’m new at this and require adult supervision.
I have Monoprice window & door sensors, First Alert smoke & carbon sensors and Ecolink Z-Wave Plus motion detectors. I’m also looking for a siren/chime – any recommendations?
I’m looking for thee modes, in all three modes the Smoke and the carbon detectors are always active and we will be notified if there is activity:
Away: the motion detectors, the window & door sensors are armed. If there is motion detected or if a door or window is opened they will sound a siren and we will receive a text.
Home: the system is off, but if a window or a door is opened we will hear a chime.
Night: the window & doors sensors are armed, but not the motion detectors. If a door or window is opened they will sound an siren and we will be text.
In each mode, we would be texted that a window or door was opened or there was motion in a room, we would always be notified if there was smoke or carbon detected.
We would like to have a chime to sound when we are home and someone opens a door or a window.
We would like a way to activate each mode via the ST app as well as speaking to Alexa, is this possible?
