Turning Home Mode on for a Cleaner

#1

1) Give a description of the problem
Home/away mode is usually controlled by my/my girlfriends phone location. I want the house to go to Home Mode when a cleaner comes (but without monitoring her phone location). I have smart locks back and front, so I thought I could use that (as she has a fob).

2) What is the expected behavior?
When the front door is unlocked, only on a Thursday, the house will go to home mode. She will probably lock the door behind her, and then leave two hours later. When she leaves, I want the house to go to away mode.

3) What is happening/not happening?
I’m interested to see if you think it will work. I’ve not used addminutes before etc.

4) Post a Green Snapshot of the pistonimage

5) Attach any logs (From ST IDE and by turning logging level to Full)
Not yet run.

Looks like it should work. Also, depending on what lock you use and the driver for it, you can get notification of who unlocked the door (another way to skin this cat).

You might need to change your add minutes to this, too. I’ve never tried it with the formatting you have so it may work, but I’m not sure.

set minimum_time = addMinutes(cleaner_arrived,30)

Good catch… I checked one of my pistons…

Ah great, thank you! I’ve updated this to:

Yale Conexis - can I see which key has opened the door with this?

I think that lock does report user code depending on which device handler you’re using. You’ll probably find more hits on the main ST site. One link I found was a paid version of the handler by Rboy.
