@dejavux2, you beat me to it!

#130

Go ahead, @Pantheon… If any of the data is unique…

#131

I didn’t see this one on the Wiki page.

(expression) $twcweather.alerts[0].eventDescription »»» (dynamic) Gale Warning

Thank you both for the new data!! :+1:

“Winter Weather Advisory” and “Gale Warning” have been added to the Wiki page

I also created a new subsection titled productIdentifier Patterns

$twcweather.alerts[0].eventDescription
“Special Weather Statement”

$twcweather.alerts[0].headlineText
“Special Weather Statement until TUE 8:00 PM EST”

#134

This “Special Weather Statement” is for this:

Lake effect snow. Additional accumulations of a coating
to 2 inches, with localized amounts up to 5 inches.

#135

Where did you find this data? It was not in the previous post

#136

I have a desktop app “WeatherCenter” which uses “theweathernetwork.com”… there is currently a Red Banner scrolling across that says “Special Weather Statement”… when I click on the banner, it takes me to the website and lists the alert(s).

image

The RED words are scrolling, that’s why you can’t see the word “Special”…

#137

I don’t know what in the $twc… would relate to the actual wording of the alerts.

#138

Also, if that alert is still current, would you be willing to test a few totally undocumented codes?

If you are willing, please type each into an Expression box, and post your results here…

$twcweather.alerts.synopsis
$twcweather.alerts.texts.description
$twcweather.alerts.texts.instruction
$twcweather.alerts.texts.languageCode
$twcweather.alerts.texts.overview

There is a chance they come up null or []… but I found them in a 3 year old document, that has been mostly accurate.

#139

I think my last post may (hopefully) answer this…

*crosses fingers*

Darn. Can you try again with “texts.” removed?

$twcweather.alerts.description
$twcweather.alerts.instruction
$twcweather.alerts.languageCode
$twcweather.alerts.overview

I guess to be thorough, we should also make sure that the base alert is still active:

#143

Maybe I am reading the JSON wrong… but without an alert, I cannot test on my end…

temp

We already tried:
$twcweather.alerts.texts.description
$twcweather.alerts.description

but it may be:
$twcweather.alerts.texts[0].description
or some other variant,

#144

Goes to ‘evaluating’ and then returns nothing at all

#145

That extra square bracket above always throws me unless I have an example to test in front of me…

Here is the single curly bracket method used in the flood section.

temp

Seen with:
$twcweather.alerts.flood.floodLocationId

#146

In the alerts I posted above, the [0] is with the ‘alerts’:

$twcweather.alerts[0].eventDescription
“Special Weather Statement”

$twcweather.alerts[0].headlineText
“Special Weather Statement until TUE 8:00 PM EST”

#147

Pulling up a JSON parser now… I am really hoping that hidden data is available to us here in webCoRE
