I won’t.
I haven’t looked closely at your last post yet, but all the other posts (from everyone) had at least one new unique piece of the puzzle. (So thank you again!)
I guess, if you wanted to save me a bit of time, you can reference the data found on the Wiki. If you find any unique data (besides times & locations), then that is definitely worth posting. If it is all repeat data, then you can trash it.
The real pistons will come later once we understand the $twcweather
framework better.
I think this one is unique…Fog Advisory

That one looks like it may be a double!!
Can you do a real quick test for me please?
Can you type the expression:
$twcweather.alerts.eventDescription
and share the results?
I am hoping it is:
Special Weather Statement, Dense Fog Advisory
Second test (if we aren’t too late) is the command:
$twcweather.alerts.length
All the data so far has been added to my spreadsheet, and I am currently working on updating the Wiki.
Keep those unique alerts coming in, and stay tuned!!
Whew!
My typing fingers are sore, LOL
The good news is, a new page has been created to showcase all of our weather alerts (so far).
You may notice missing dataPoints there, so we are still looking for more alerts to add to that page.
@WCmore, Awesome job my friend. I am really looking forward to using this data for future and existing pistons.
What you are saying is 100% logical, but there is definitely something else going on behind the scenes. For almost two full hours today, my length was between 1 and 3:
Yet my $twcweather.alerts
was [null]
or [null, null]
all morning:
Another one

Thanks @mrmike for the Canadian update! It seems the responses are slightly different between our two countries. The $twcweather.alerts page has been updated.
The biggest difference can be found here.
Not sure if you need another “Excessive Rainfall”…

@WCmore, I have emailed The Weather Company to see if they will provide a complete listing of all of the weather alerts that they currently provide. That would save lots of time and effort here.
Great strategy, @Pantheon. Hopefully, they come thru for us.
I am beginning to wonder if other countries (and other weather sources) use slightly different terminology. (in other words, the lingo might come from the weather source, not TWC) From a recent Canadian alert, it appears this way…
More data must be still collected.
Hopefully we won’t need a separate wiki page for each country!
Didn’t see this one in the wiki yet, so I’m adding it here.
