Thank you both for your contributions…

High Wind Warning & Small Craft Advisory have been added to the Wiki.

The webpage is coming along nicely… but there are still a few more dataPoints missing…

  • certaintyCode:4
  • messageTypeCode:3
  • responseTypes.responseTypeCode:2
  • severityCode:1
  • severityCode:5
  • urgencyCode:4

plus probably many more for eventDescription and flood.

… Keep 'em coming!

Check this out… I was building a piston to pull the alerts and decided to do some digging… I found the docs https://docs.google.com/document/d/16cYge1VXtLz68MnZKqsYXnPSOJroN8LdfufK3_ZcWo8/edit#

and alot more…

#126

Thanks @fieldsjm… Merging the pertinent data now…

Stay tuned…

#127

Whew… That one was a doozy!!! (over 10,000 new characters added!)
*blows smoke from his fingertips*

Check out our New & Improved Wiki page… Now with 50% more data!!

Even though that source document was created in 2016, a lot of the information appears to still be accurate. I have merged that document with our Wiki page, and decided to orange highlight much of the new data. When someone verifies that those dataPoints are currently in use by SmartThings, I’ll remove the orange highlight.

I also took the time to re-order the structure of the page to make it flow a bit better.

Most of the new data falls into one of these sections:

(but there is a lot of new information scattered about)

#134

This “Special Weather Statement” is for this:

Lake effect snow. Additional accumulations of a coating
to 2 inches, with localized amounts up to 5 inches.

#135

Where did you find this data? It was not in the previous post

#136

I have a desktop app “WeatherCenter” which uses “theweathernetwork.com”… there is currently a Red Banner scrolling across that says “Special Weather Statement”… when I click on the banner, it takes me to the website and lists the alert(s).

image

The RED words are scrolling, that’s why you can’t see the word “Special”…

#137

I don’t know what in the $twc… would relate to the actual wording of the alerts.

#138

Also, if that alert is still current, would you be willing to test a few totally undocumented codes?

If you are willing, please type each into an Expression box, and post your results here…

There is a chance they come up null or []… but I found them in a 3 year old document, that has been mostly accurate.

#139

I think my last post may (hopefully) answer this…

*crosses fingers*

Darn. Can you try again with “texts.” removed?

I guess to be thorough, we should also make sure that the base alert is still active:
