Upon closer examination, it is always your 16th device that fails the check…
This is because “contact sensors” do not have a switch, so cannot report as being ON or OFF.

… and one furthur side note…

Recently, our SMS messages got either restricted (USA), or cut entirely (everyone else).
This means during testing, looping a few times may block all future SMS (until tomorrow).

Thanks! I didn’t realize I had contact sensors in there. My ‘thing’ naming was too ambiguous!
