Webcore Not Setting Correct Heating Point in Home Mode

#1

Despite my Webcore Piston setting the Heat Setpoint to 72 when ST Mode changes to Home, when the ST hub goes into home mode, it sets the heating setpoint for my Ecobee at 71 and I can’t figure out why. No where in the simple piston is the value of 71 nor do any of my Ecobee modes use 71 as a setpoint. When ST Mode changes to Away or Vacation Mode, the Ecobee is set to correct temperatures.

**4) Post a Green Snapshot of the piston!

**5) Attach any logs (From [ST IDE]

The very first thing it does is set the Heating Setpoint to 71 and I don’t know why. Is that somewhere in the Ecobee settings? I don’t have any ST Routines or SmartApps that communicate with the Ecobee.

SOLVED!!!

I created a piston that just changed the Cooling Heatpoint to 73 and the Cooling Setpoint went from 76 to 78. I found in Smartthings settings for the Ecobee the Cooling Setpoint and Heating Setpoint must be a minimum of 5 degrees apart. My GoControl Thermostat does not have that in its settings so that is why it was working with an identical piston.

UGH!!!

Just adding a quick note for any Nest-ers same problem happens, but the limit is 3 degrees instead of 5. …
