What is the wording to express alarm state in a status message?

I’ve had a status message sent to me daily for a while but I’ve just thought to add the status of the SHM to it. Can anyone help with the wording on how to get the message to say “system is armed/disarmed”?

I think you’re looking for the $shmStatus system variable.
