Help! I’ve got a situation where one of my LIFX bulbs keeps changing level and cannot figure out why. There’s a webCoRE piston that’s involved with this bulb to reset color temperature to daylight white which works fine, but for some reason the level shows as being 100% and then goes to 7% and unsure why. There’s nothing in the webCoRE piston about changing brightness. What am I missing?!
Also of note is that the other bulb that’s using in the webCoRE piston does not experience this issue.
I’m going to keep an eye on it and when it happens again I’ll post logs. Another thing I’ve been wondering about is why two different colors are being sent to the bulb? I know FFFFFF is white and says 7F7F7F is gray.
I don’t have any Lifx bulbs but I was wondering if there is anything in the Lifx app that could be doing this. I have a hue bridge and I sometimes see folks creating scenes/automations in the hue app that they didn’t realize were the root cause of their issues.
There’s other smartapps associated with the bulb, but most are pistons and routines. My understanding is that if it’s a piston changing the light then it’d show in device history, correct? The routines are goodbye and good night which turn it off. The smartapps are ones like ActionTiles, IFTTT and Alexa which shouldn’t be sending any dim commands to light.
