Yeelight does not show up in available devices

#1

1) Give a description of the problem
I have purchased a Yeelight Light Strip Plus and added Yeelight integration in ST. The light strip works fine in ST, but it is not available in the webCoRE ‘Available devices’ list. I have tried changing the type in IDE from ‘placeholder’ to ‘Simulated RGBW Bulb’ and ‘RGBW Light’, but it has no effect.

2) What is the expected behaviour?
I expect to be able to use the light strip in webCoRE pistons.

3) What is happening/not happening?
Not seeing the light strip in ‘Available devices’ prevents using it in pistons.

If it appears as a ‘placeholder’ in the IDE, which is perfectly correct, then it will not have either of the ‘Actuator’ or ‘Sensor’ tagging capabilities, which means when you go into ‘Available Devices’ it isn’t going to appear in the ‘Select devices by type’ section and you have to look for it using a capability it does have in one of the three capability groups in ‘Select devices by capability’.

I’d have thought ‘Capability group 3’ and then ‘Which switches’ is a good first place to try.

Sorry for the late reply. I didn’t get any notifications, that my topic had been answered :-(.
You are right - I found it in ‘Capability Group 1’ ‘Which adjustable lights’.
