This just started today.
I’ve tried two pistons now, and I am unable to edit existing pistons to add any Action statements. I also can’t paste Action statements, or move statements around.
I’ve tried pausing the piston before making my edits, but I still can’t seem to make my edits. I’ve also tried in Chrome, a Chrome incognito window and Safari.
I’m next going to try building the piston from scratch – I’ve already tried duplicating it and making my edits to the same results.
I am able to edit pistons.
Have you run Clean up and rebuild data cache under settings in the ST app: Automation: your WC instance
That helped with being able to edit. I still can’t paste Action statements for some reason, but that’s not too big of a deal.

Now I’m running into this again with another one of my pistons!
Clicking “Paste this Statement” does nothing, and clicking “Add a task” does nothing.
If you try to edit too quickly after you enter the piston you’ll think you’re changing things but nothing actually changes. I have to wait 2 seconds after the piston is FULLY loaded before clicking on anything. And i’m the kind of person who honks at people after 2 seconds at a green light, so it’s been torture for me!
Patience did the trick.
Strange I haven’t had this problem before; although these are the most complex pistons I’ve written as they combine a few pistons into one.
