Would it be possible to have a true offline development environment? I.e. you could duplicate your switches, outlets etc as virtual devices and use it for testing without affecting your production environment?:joy:

You can create virtual devices that you can use in development then substitute your real devices when you’re satisfied with your code.

I use virtual presence, contacts, and switches to test pistons.

How to force piston to run for test purposes?

Add a new location and install webCoRE there as well - then play to your heart’s content - add virtual devices everything :smiley:

I didn’t know that was… A thing. I thought you had to have a hub.

It provides a virtual one, I think - try it

I have two installations of webcore on one hub. One is default named webcore and the other is webcore - testing.

So if none of the above suites for fancy then give this a whirl
