Here’s a piston i setup for my garage door based on the Door Status Tiles example piston (located here) combined with the toggling code from @michicago’s post (located here) plus a little of my own Font Awesome tinkering. It features:

Icons changed to be representative of a garage door.

During opening and closing from the dashboard features a spinning spinner with blinking double arrow heads up or down respectively.

When the Garage Door is open the word Open flashes in red to draw your attention to the state.
