Yeah no lie. Sounds like a lie but my kid deleted my piston. I don’t have a back up code written down. Yes he pressed yes when it said this is your last chance to save the back up code.
Is there anywhere to recover it or am I SOL?
I had automatic backups turned on? But I’m not sure if that does me any good now.
You might get lucky. Try this.
The scratch / red (bin) codes can also be recovered from the IDE by going to ‘my locations > ‘installed smartapps’ and mousing over the desired piston.
You looked down at the bottom of the locations page fir smart apps. Not the smart apps tab. Right? I made that mistake the first time I checked
I too am trying to recover a lost piston. I’m trying to understand your instructions. I go to the ST IDE and choose My Locations. Then I have a “smartapps” link under the column Installed SmartApp. You are saying to click that smartapps link? Doing so only shows all my current pistons. Is this the right location and if not can you explain more specifically?
