My Crazy SHM View

1) Give a description of the problem
Not sure I have a problem yet. Just lookinig for advice. I used work from this post to base my work off of. SHM - Arm/Disarm based on presence and set times

The one thing I am not sure is working yet is the changing of modes as the day moves on.

2) What is the expected behavior?
I am trying to get this SHM to know if the house is in sleep mode by using a switch and smart speaker to change its status. The goal of using a mode switch is allowing me to have other things happen when the switch is on like turn lights down.

3) What is happening/not happening?
I do not think the auto mode change is happening at 20 seconds after right now but I plan to monitor that tonight.

4) Post a Green Snapshot of the piston

Looking for any pointers. I plan to add alro cams later.Thank you for your time.

You’re right, the change after your 20 second wait will not work. There was a similar question recently that I think would be helpful to you:

The problem is you have a WAIT command nested inside a condition statement that will no longer be true after the wait period passes. Here is what happens: Motion is detected or a button is pushed. Push notification is sent and lights are set to 100% Your piston sets a wake-up timer for 1 minute in the future. 1 minute later, your piston wakes up and evaluates your IF condition.
