@ady624 this was actually piston of yours that I had imported from here.

the power on times are all messed up as well so I suspect it related to this.

Go into the webCoRE mobile app > settings, > rebuild data.

#4

This did not work.
"The cache was cleand and rebuilt"
Ok However now when i try to open that piston all i get is the spinning cube ln a end less loop. And will only give the above error message if i open another piston first!

I guess there is no other way to remove the bad piston?

Thanks!

try pausing the piston first then click to view/edit once paused.

#7

I have already tried this but it will not pause either.

@Scpickle,
This will only work if you have Automatic backup enabled.
GO into the IDE under My Location and go to List SmartApps.
Find the title of your smart app/piston and click on the title. You should be taken to another window that contains details on your piston.

Next find the section under Application State.you should the first three items in a list.
Name Value
active true
author Author
bin backup bin code

The bin section will have your backup code.

This will not fix your piston, but will let you use WebCoRE’s Restore a Piston Backup Code option and recreate the Piston throwing the error and not opening view/editing.

I have done this for a piston or two that has been locked in limbo.

If that works you can get rid of the bad piston and use the backup one you just created.

#9

Wasn’t this the same thing that happened with one of your pistons?

#10

yep. I got it paused after quite a few attempts then went to edit, saved and resumed. so far ok now

#11

Thanks but I cant get rid of the bad piston or I would just delete it.

#12

Try Deleting from the IDE, the same page I sent you to. Just need to switch to edit mode and you can delete it from there.

Cool That worked
It seems like I had to do something like this before with another app
but could not remember how.
