All pistons disappeared

#1

Been using webcore for a few months now just upgraded to 0.2.0fd and whilst I can log in to my account as normal all of my pistons appear to have disappeared. The categories are still there but nothing else. Have I done something stupid or am I missing something?

HELP! Missing All Pistons
#2

Are they still listed in graph/IDE locations/installedSmartApps ?

#3

Nope gone from there as well unfortunately.

Hum that’s scary. I hope they’re just playing hide and seek lol! :crossed_fingers:

Did you noted your recovery codes by any chance?

#6

Github or manual update? Try updating and publishing the apps again please. Then hard reload the browser.

#7

Hi. I placed a few pistons into categories and they neither the category nor pistons show on the dashboard. They are still listed in Settings and are not listed as Hidden. I’ve refreshed the page, logged out and back in and they still do not appear on the dash. Any idea what I’ve done? What other info can I supply?

– I updated to the latest version just prior to creating the categories.

#8

In settings, change the categories to show the details I.e. not just tiles.

#9

They all are set to details.

#10

Maybe hard refresh of browser (hold Ctrl whilst clicking the browser refresh button)

#11

Can you please open the browser console (F12 for Windows, ALT+CMD+I for Mac) and go to the Console panel and type in:

scope.instance.pistons

what do you get?

#12

Got called out sorry.
scope.instance.pistons

Ok, you have 58 pistons - seems like an issue with categories disappearing (not sure why). Will investigate, but looks like the category you had your pistons in got deleted. I will look at creating a default category. Do you have any category created? Could you create one?

#14

Hi,
Originally manual install, did re-install (manual) with same results. Now I’ve done a github install and will attempt a restore

#15

I’m not sure if related to this problem, but as of this morning, all of my pistons are still down. Check all logs, and no activity is shown. I have updated, paused, and resumed all pistons.

Has the problem been fixed? or are we still dealing with it.

#16

Make sure you are running on the latest published version (0fd). ST blocked a couple of versions (0fb and 0fc because of the DST bug)

@ady624, Thank you very much. I had to unlink my Github and relink. Otherwise I was not getting the update to appear for execution. I am now working.
