Authentication Required

I haven’t been in webCoRE for a few months but I’m trying to get back into it now. I just updated to the latest webCoRE code. However, every time I register a web browser, and I’ve tried with 4 different browsers on 2 different machines, after a brief time the “Authentication Required” window pops up and makes me enter my password again. I’m unable to do anything. I searched but don’t see this same issue reported by anyone else.

Oops I may have jumped the gun on this. I removed webCoRE and started over and it seems to be working now.

Yes it’s working fine now. I should have thought to reinstall when I saw I was the only one with the problem.

This just happened to me and the authentication process won’t accept my password. If I remove webcore from the IDE will I lose all of my pistons? I just got started using this last week and hadn’t manually backed up anything. Yikes. Anyone have any suggestions?

My bad. I see that the password expires. Fixed and fixed. :slight_smile:

How did you fix it? I am having the same problem. Since it is a website, I did not know I had anything installed locally and I see no prompt to renew my password/

You can change your password in the ST Classic app. Go to Automation: Smartapps: your instance of webcore: settings: Security
