Cell Phone Presence Sensor assistance (WebCore)

I’m having issues with WebCore Presence. It seems that the only time my SmartThings Cell phone device updates my location is when I close and open the WebCore app. Please assist. Thank you.

Version: 8.1.0
Device: Samsung Note 9.

The presence sensor hasn’t been updated since the early beta and isn’t properly optimized for Android 8.0+. The problems you describe are to be expected. I stopped using it some months ago.

There have been whispers among the minions about reviving the app, but to my knowledge no substantive action.

Tasker works well for me.
