Possible bug with sending change colour commands

#1

Hi guys
I created a post a bit back trying to get my led controller to change colour back to its previous state but it just wouldn’t work.

Eric on the SmartThings forum seems to think WebCoRe isn’t sending the correct code to the device to change colour.

I thought I would post on here to see if anyone can confirm what he’s saying as it’s above me so I’m not sure how to check
Thanks

i just invited Eric to join here. I hope he does so he can shed some deeper light on stuff and between @ady624 and maybe some insight in DH function from Eric, maybe this can get solved.

Hi @ady624 is there any chance you could have a quick look into this.
I’ve revised this from a while back hoping to get it working but just can’t get it going.
I created a really simple piston to capture attributes when a switch turns on then to set a colour and when finished restore attributes when the switch turns off.
But when running it the logs look like it’s worked but it doesn’t restore and in the live log on the IDE it gives this error.
"groovy.lang.MissingPropertyException: No such property: saturation for class: java.lang.String’
Thanks if you can help.

Would you please share the green screenshot for that piston?

Hi yeah

It was set to capture all attributes to local state but it wasn’t working so i changed it to this to try but it still wouldn’t work.
So that errors from when it was capturing saturation also.
Can’t change it right now as I’m at work.
The device is a H801 which works normally within SmartThings.
Thanks
