I have tried both change to off and turn off both stop after a few days

it was posted Switch change working every other time
then i moved it bug because no matter what i tried off stops every few days

Put the wait before line 30 and then set that with task cancellation policy to never cancel. Also, I don’t see Line 18 as subscribing to the Switch 1 switch event.

I thought momentary switch wasn’t working for you in a previous post? Why not just use a regular switch and try the piston above.

i am test code from above will let it run a few days and see how it works
it looks like Alexa is ok with it now
i am just trying to keep it simple
