Dashboard and dev just spinning?

#1

@webCoRE_Minions

Is it just me or can anyone get the dev or dashboard pages to come up? I just get the spinning postit notes as I call them. Tried on a few machines.

#2

Yeah… I’m down to.

#3

well always nice to know I am not crazy.

#4

Still down? It’s loading up normally here.

#5

I’m good now…

#6

still dead for me :frowning:

Tried 2 different computers, phone and multiple browsers.

@ady624 - any ideas?

#7

Looking into it more. In the IDE I see:

713686f8-6e0b-4230-af47-8d5401a376a3 4:15:17 PM: error java.lang.NullPointerException

When I try to login to the dashboard.

#8

Maybe try a clean and rebuild in the webCoRE smart app settings?

#9

I have tried it all…

#10

Webcore is officially going dark for now. Can’t get into the dashboard, half my pistons don’t seem to be functioning right and I can’t change and edit thing.

I have had to get out of my chair three times already this afternoon LOL

All in good fun but I am totally baffled what’s broken here. Seems I should have been writing down all those magical codes.

#11

Imagine @ady624 will figure it out for you when he gets time… imagine he’s crazy busy handing things over at work right now!!

#12

Oh I am sure - he hasn’t failed us yet. I just feel so helpless lol - feels like the house is starting to become self-aware and fight back

#13

It might be a bit nuclear depending on how many pistons you have, but have you tried the Disable all pistons option in the webCoRE smart app?

#14

you mean just to stop the madness? I can do that yeah - enough stuff is working that I am leaving it for now

#15

Yeah if some things are still working it may be best to wait on that. Do you know what the id 713686f8-6e0b-4230-af47-8d5401a376a3 corresponds to in your SmartThings IDE?

#16

that’s my webcore instance

#17

It seems this call is failing and no idea why/how to fix it:

(removed the parts I thought might be sensitive)

https://graph.api.smartthings.com/api/token/XXXXXXXXXX/smartapps/installations/713686f8-6e0b-4230-af47-8d5401a376a3/intf/dashboard/load?token=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX&pin=XXXXXXXXXXXXXx&dashboard=0&dev=XXXXXXXXX&callback=angular.callbacks._1

#18

Does the response to that request include any more info than the exception that you saw in the IDE logs?

#19

No not really:

error true
type "java.lang.NullPointerException"
message “An unexpected error occurred.”

A get returns:
500 Internal Server Error

#20

I once had a similar error trying to access the old CoRE dashboard.

I needed to re-generate the token under Oauth in the IDE… worth a shot at least?
